Why is there an ongoing rumor that Al Pacino was in this movie???

Because he did the voice of El Macho originally. He was then fired and / or quit. By that point, they had animated El Macho around Pacino's performance, and so Benjamin Bratt dubbed his own voice over the animation.

That *beep* stinks. Is there any way I can find a sample of the original voice work on YouTube? Is it on the special features of the DVD?

Or a combination of both.. Pacino is nut job. A perfect Hollywood weirdo.

Anybody could have done El Macho's voice including yours truly. Since this is a kid's movie, they didn't need a name brand actor to put fannies in the seats, so I don't get Pacino's casting unless it to throw an unemployed jerk a bone.
