The Little Sister Episode Was Actually Pretty Funny

Anyone else agree?

The writing could still use some work, but I feel like this episode really shined and stood out more than any of the others. Probably because the focus was less on Ben and Kate's romance. They were there to mold the story, but a large part of it included the antics of Connie and Larry, who as we've seen are the funniest parts of the show due to Judie Greer's and Tyler Labine's excellent chemistry and comic timing.

My favorite part was Judie Greer's delivery of the booty call line: I want your booty in my bed. Get it over here before I fall asleep.

I know this show got off to a rough start (and is still a little rough), but I can definitely see some potential in it if only CBS will keep it for a while and allow it to grow. Unfortunately, the stigma of being a "HIMYM carbon copy" is already there, and the first few episodes were not strong; those few who did tune in may have already turned away.

This is getting too serious! Kick her! Kick her in the head!
