Lee Majors is outraged refuses to cameo or attend the film premiere, Heather Thomas attends premiere but leaves before the end stating 'its terrible what they did to our characters'

Film is a huge success grosses 500m worldwide and kicks off a Fall Guy movie franchise (sequel titled 'FG:2' marks the return of directing legend John Woo and features a cameo by a moustached Matthew McCongahey as Private Investigator Thomas Magnum)
