Which Did You like better? This or Silver Lining Play book, your age?

Which Did You like better? This or Silver Lining Play book, and what is your age?

I feel that SLP was probly ten times better, and was much deeper and less pretensions, I LOVED perks of being a wall flower, but it was pretentious at times especially the scene where logan or ema are hanging out from the top of the car when it goes into the bridge, but pretinsiouness is not bad all the time and I really liked the movie, I would give "Perks" a A- and SLP a A+. Which did you think was better? Iv'e noticed the younger generation likes "perks" better(which is wierd cause i am the youger generation, im 15), some of my friends though SLP was stupid and thought perks was amazing, Here are my movie suggestions for 2012-

what an impossible question... i sooooo loved them both and i really cannot say one was best over the other, for me... one thing at i will say: after watching Perks, i was inclined to deem it "The Breakfast Club of the Millennium", even though it was set in the 1990s... i simply felt the same power of diverse personalities melding together as i did with TheBC... with SLP, it was the love story intertwined with the obsessiveness of Pat's disease and with the brilliant minds of both Pat and Tiffany.

cannot choose!!!

So, im a 19 girl.

Even though i loved them both, i will go with Perks, because i just hated the turn in Silver Linings i was like "All of this for a love story" i mean, it was nice, but i thought that it just missed what it came building the entire time.

Perks on the other hand, stayed true to itself, it ain't a story where the girl of your dreams finally notices you, and your life simply gets fixed, its rather quite real, kids do suffer because they are outcasts (Been there) and they deal in different ways, and everyone haves an issue, and yes, they do try to kill themselves and they do get sent to a mental facility quite often, they do take pills to help with depression (Been there) etc, and not everything comes because they live in a disfunctional family, they live things and they sometimes don't know how to deal with them.

I found it simply stunning, and ALL of the cast was brilliant, Specially the 3 leads, we all fell in love a little bit with Sam, and we all felt bad for Patrick, and we all wanted Charlie to get better. Lovely.

I'm 30 and I definitely think that Perks was much better than SLP. I also read the book and maybe it comes from me being attached to the book personally. Also I think it is more believable than SLP. For me SLP was kind of a romance with certain fillers but Perks was purely about feeling better and getting to a good place and anyone, adults and younger people could relate to that. It was more than ever about the self and not necessarily having someone to make you feel better even though the characters helped with that. Charlie was alone afterward and satisfied with that and understood himself in ways a lot of adults don't and can't. SLP on the other hand was a true love found story and dealing with mental illness more than ever.

Silver lining. I don't understand why this movie is rated so high.

The Perks Of being a Wallflower mainly because it was much more than just a romance flick. Something much more deeper.

I liked the Perks better. I just saw it for the second time and it is still great. Because I like it so much, I searched for movies comparable to this one. And SLP came up. I watched the trailer and then realized I already saw this movie. I liked it, but I completely forgot. That would never happen with 'Perks'.
Also, more people compare these films. I don't really understand why..
