I cannot believe this is rated 5.5 when What's Your Number? is rated 5.8. The latter was both funny and fun. This one, however, was completely unfunny and an utter mess. I seriously am amazed at just how awful a romcom (a genre I normally enjoy) this movie was.
2 out of 10 at the most from me, and only for the actors' sake. Minus 10 otherwise.
ME NEITHER! This movie was FANTASTIC, Kelly McDonald ALONE made it worth my while! 7.5, EASILY!

I thought it was a cute, romantic, comedic indie film. Enjoyed watching it. Not sure what that movie the OP mentioned is. What was it called? What's your Number?
