I HATED This Is 40--will I like this?

This Is 40 to me was overly-long, depressing, annoying how much the main characters fought, had far too little funny stuff... It was like 2 hours of people fighting, whining, making the wrong decisions, lying, with a little bit of fun and laughs and a touch of heartwarming but not nearly enough to redeem the movie.

I do not mind crass jokes or nudity or sex. Heck I watched the mirror scene on youtube and thought it was funny.

How does Wanderlust compare to This Is 40?

Not as long. Not as dramatic. In my opinion This is 40 is the better film, but this one is just a different kind of comedy really. Much goofier. I love them both. The guy that directed Role Models also did Wanderlust so maybe that's a good comparison for you.

coop, thanks! I didn't see Role Models, but I liked The Five Year Engagement, I Love You Man, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him To The Greek, Bridesmaids...

This is 40 was probably the worst movie of 2012, an offensive piece of garbage.

Wanderlust isn't a good movie, but not terrible.

I have a new philosophy. I'm only going to dread one day at a time.

depends on age, if u are 14 or less u will like this turd movie more, if u are 30+ u will like this is 40 more. This is 40 is a masterpiece if u are closing in on the age of 40.

As a 35 year-old, I liked Wanderlust and I didn't like This is 40.
