Will it make an appearance??

I suppose anything is possible, I don't have much hope for this movie but what you asked leads to an interesting question; what if the creators use this series to tie all great King stories together. So we get a sample of different characters, even guest characters and locations from other stories. Doubt anyone besides a younger cocaine-enthused S. King has the writing chops for that task.

So back to Pennywise, did you know he is the same type of spider-like creature as the Crimson King, and Dandelo? Perhaps they are related, perhaps they Skype?

There are some ancient remains of a theme park with a decrepit sign that says "Pennywise" and a broken clown face but that's the only reference to Pennywise that I saw
