So one of the messages and points made in this film is that...

... even though men are capable of and very much are evil and a threat to women in this movie, other women can be almost, in their own ways and perhaps for different reasons, but just as hostile, and that makes them female villains and antagonists like one of the characters in this movie, and the female prey character is therefore just as justified to fight back in self defense even to the point of ending that villainess' character's life. Correct? Was this the sort of message "Bedevilled" (2010) was trying to deliver?
