Implausible ending scene SPOILERS

How did Ben Logan get past airport security? For him to meet his daughter at the gate at the end of the movie, he would have had to get through airport security looking like he just survived a bombing - which he had. Can you imagine? Also, there surely would have been some kind of residue from the explosives. Just one of many implausible scenes in the movie.

Parts of Europe might not be all that strict at the airports.

And pigs might fly out of my rear end some day, but post 9/11 at a major airport like Brussels, it is highly unlikely that his ragged appearance would go unnoticed.

And how exactly is he going to be able to enter the US anyway ? He was already persona non grata there BEFORE this whole incident...

When I'm gone I would like something to be named after me. A psychiatric disorder, for example.

It's an action movie, it's a work of fiction, there doesn't have to be any plausibility in something that is not real. Common sense is not very common, is it? Nope.

How did Ben Logan get past airport security?

You mean, for an hour and half you watched him elude everyone from local police to professional hitmen, survive several assassination attempts, survive a bomb blast, etc...but you don't think he can get passed airport security?

Here's a hint: It's a movie.

He was called to the counter by a different name, right? A name that his daughter recognized as being an alias of his. So he used that alias to get back in the country.

Good point. Most major airports have bomb sniffing dogs -- they'd be all over his plastic explosive coated hands. Some have chemical swabs they brush your hand with to check for residue. Not to mention the disheveled appearance, and paying in cash at the last minute.
