Best actor: Chris Messina as the agent

An all-star cast and Damon, Bateman, et al, did their usual good acting but the person who stood out to me was Chris Messina as the asshole agent. He had the best lines and delivered them with supreme verve.

Viola Davis was far too polished to be believable. And Chris Tucker was too unbelievable but for a different reason: too much of a stereotype.

As long as I'm dissing people, the guy playing the shoe designer was just downright weird. Obviously, all the attention was to the styling of the shoe. There was nothing new about the insole, outsole, lacing, etc. Putting extra red on the shoe hardly seems deserving of the guy's preachy raving.
