Just realized something profound

So while watching Edge of Tomorrow on TV randomly again I just realized something profound. Could this be a plot hole as well?

So we see the movie from Cages perspective where he's shipped to London and the general sends him to the barracks near battlefield and then he's sent to barracks and eventually the battlefield where....

They encounter the mimics when they were not supposed to yet. Because it is a secret mission and one of the guys even remarks "how did they know we were coming? They were not supposed to know" (or such).

Meaning.... This had happened before, the ground surprise assault, and the omega reset the clock by more than 1d!!! Because for cage and others before this they had no reset or such was shown.

Meaning there was a time loop already going on.

The blue mimic is able to process these multiple timelines and gets killed in that loop by cage "front towards enemy" bomb and accidentally transfers it's power to cage. And he resets it now 1d (maybe regardless of if he dies or not).

Then he's now looping time till he loses it and gets it back from Omega where he resets it again by what seems like 1d again.

So I just thought this was profound or some kind of plot hole
