shareAbsolutely. I learned to drive at about 9 or 10 on tractors and combines. Cars at 13 or 14. I'd trust my daughter to drive even though she only knows where the go and the stop pedals are. She'll figure it out.
It's how you learn. I've ridden with people that have been driving for 40 years and I don't trust them.
It's not the age, it's the behavior.
