Why would you get into a car with an unlicensed teen driver....

after your daughter just died in a car crash? Yes, I know she was killed by a drunk driver and the boy had his permit but still. Teenagers are the grim reaper on wheels. I wouldn't even let my son drive a car in a million years.

How are they going to become familiar at the wheel if they don't drive with their learner's? That's the whole point of taking the test. You must want your son to never learn to drive?

Teen drivers are bad because of inexperience, not age. I've seen people in their 40's learn to drive, and they were just as bad as teenagers.

I've seen 40 yr old asians drive...reason enuff to stay off the road! PS- I'm an Asian myself so don't play the race card...

reply

Yeah, that's nuts. What a nutty guy.

Absolutely. I learned to drive at about 9 or 10 on tractors and combines. Cars at 13 or 14. I'd trust my daughter to drive even though she only knows where the go and the stop pedals are. She'll figure it out.

It's how you learn. I've ridden with people that have been driving for 40 years and I don't trust them.

It's not the age, it's the behavior.
