Jake's Avatar Character is unappealing by now

His face & expressions.....are too artificial & repulsive.

Repeat viewings of the first part already made him somewhat repugnant, even Neytiri to some extent.

The second part seems more or less repetitive and the audience will be simply forced to watch these worn-out characters.

he's our main character with hero conflict and growth.

we find out two things. he has a dead bro and he is in a wheelchair

well the brother thing never plays any part. and him being in a wheelchair isn't a conflict. its motivation for him to decide to join the blue people. He loses nothing and gains everything.

I dont care about him because hes a 2d empty shell, used as a pawn to just move to the next action CGI boring set piece

I don't think he's a bad protagonist but I do absolutely agree these films could get repetitive.

5 films overall does seem too much, this film not only has to tell an exciting story but it has to lay the groundwork for audiences to want to come back to these characters and this world 3 more times after it.
