Too repetitious

I never saw Alive, so this was new to me. I found the first third of the movie good, but then it began to get repetitious -- the survivors shivering inside the plane at night, then outside in the sunshine, thawing out, then back inside at night. Then the avalanches and digging out of the snow, lungs clawing for air. I was also revolted by the cannibalism, even though I might have done the same thing. It was either that or die.

Still, I did something I rarely do: fast-forwarded through till the three who climbed the mountain into Chile spotted the rider on horseback across the river and exchanged messages with him by throwing them across wrapped in a rock. I then watched it from there.

I enjoyed it, but i do agree with the issue of the length of the movie, its story could have been told in about 30-40 mins less time
