gosh i hated the 'cripple' jokes on the cousin

To me it was just another way in which Patton Oswald stole the movie. Every scene he was in rocked. His delivery and comedic timing was completely perfect, and I loved the way the scene with his crippled cousin really showed how bitter he was about his situation and how he really latched onto the victimhood mentality and was kind of stuck, and unable to move on. (like the way he made sure to mention to Buddy and Mavis that it takes him "twice as long to do what an able bodied person can do." There was no reason to even mention that, but that was his character for you. "woe is me.") The cousin was the complete opposite to the point of funny ridiculousness in order to highlight the stark difference between the two.

Seems that this was just yet another aspect of the movie you didn't get.

Based on your writing style alone you come across as half retarded, I mean, come on. Can't punctuate or use capital letters, misspell half your words. Then you start all these threads where you *clearly* don't get most things about this movie. Face it, you don't understand the movie, most of it went over your head, so spare everybody the trouble with your poorly written posts where you try to point out things that supposedly don't make sense or which you don't like. Just move on to another movie, one that's simpler, that you can easily follow, and comment on that one. You're obviously in over your head with this one.

It was just diablo's try at something she is not very good with, creating a full scene.
she is all about short zingers that noone will ever use in real life but sounds funnny and makes her charachters funny an compelling
this movie existed just for a couple of reason one of them being charlize theron.Otherwise I was totally disappointed , and that scene(who was basically a rip off of one of the very first scenes with the man talking about his trip in africa)was the culprit of my beyond disappointment reasons.

This movie was not a comedy. It was a tragedy with humorous moments here and there.
