Will you be watching the 2nd episode?

I thought the pilot was mediocre so i may push myself to watch the 2nd.

Anyone else?

reply

I will likely watch the second episode but if I do, it's because there's nothing else to watch or do. The first episode didn't impress me, but I'm willing to give it another chance before I completely dismiss it.

It tried too hard. It's basically Red & Eric Foreman without other great characters to keep things moving... the overdone laugh track also kills it a bit.

Wow, that dinner smells good. Let me guess... meat?

I'll be watching all of them, win or lose.

No Way, I did not care for it at all.

I can't, just can't. 30 minutes of my life wasted...I won't waste another 30 on this show!

reply

Well tonight is the 2nd show and as mentioned , I'll be watching.

I wont be reviewing or commenting here but I'll read those of others. I pretty much already like the show.

This episode would have to be far worse for me to change my mind.

I was looking forward to this when I saw Will Sasso and Nicole Sullivan were costarring. But honestly it's a pretty week comedy. I could see the accidental shotgun going off as soon as Shatner was swinging it around.

And while I find that one son whiney, I'm not sure if the writers are aware he's whiney. I mean, in Seinfeld they new the characters werent likely, that was the point. I'm not sure if the writers were conciously making him whiney or if they thought that was a relatable trait for the audience.

Me and my foster son love this show. It's uncanny, like someone put a hidden camera in our house... The interplay between Shatner and his son is very similar to how we interact.
