i know & the worst part is that it also makes the new generation of students, like me, who are just starting college this fall to study Archaeology like a bunch of retards who never cracked open a book in their life.
sharelindsay's more detailed resume does list her as being a double major in actinng and Anthropology. That aside the show seems to be renactments or made up out of whole cloth. in all the scenes where they discover stuff the dirt around the item is very fresh and lose. I'd think after being buried for a few thousand years it would take more than a fresh out of the package paint brush to clear it off, even if it is sand. Even if you are dealing with sand we are talking about serveral feet under the ground at some point the soil has to be soild even in a desert. In one episode i swear you can see screws already holding together one of the skeletons that were "just discovered".
