I loved the chemistry

Honestly, I didn't watch the previous movies and I wasn't surprised by the movie plot here. It was predictable all the way.

But what I did love was the chemistry between both leads. Not only in the skating arena but when they were around one another most of the movie, they had a great chemistry going on.

I like it when the leads have a good chemistry because then the movie regardless of the same old story stays interesting.

Personally, I didn't like the second movie in the series: "Cutting Edge - Going for Gold"

But to each his own!

Well, I only saw this movie because I like Brendan Fehr's acting. He was my favourite in Roswell and I wanted to see him playing a different character here. The female lead (Francia Raisa) was new to me but I liked her eyes. When she was playing strip poker or in a few other scenes, the way she looks is very calculating and sexy. And they had a great chemistry there.

However, I didn't like Save The Last Dance because I didn't feel the chemistry in that movie. So if the 1st and 3rd is anything like that, I would not be interested. And since I already liked Alex with James in this movie, I don't know how open I would be to her pairing with someone else in the other movies. :)

But since you suggested, I will give it a try and see.
