Totally implausible

The title of the movie aside, there was no need to move Tobin Frost to the safe house to interrogate him. The American Consulate would be a perfect and safe place to interrogate him. Moving him to an isolated safe house was not a safe choice.

Also, why did the interrogation team come fully armed for battle, as if it was expecting an armed combat? If there was such a possibility of an armed conflict, would the safe house not make such a safe location?

When the armed assailants came blasting into the safe house, why didn't the defenders just call the local police? The intervention of the local police could stop the assailants' attempt to kidnap Tobin Frost. But these two groups just had to fight it out like cowboys -- a very American concept, but totally implausible in South Africa.

Also, I thought normal safe houses are simply empty apartments or houses that can be used by agents incognito, not serious interrogation cells with an extra supply of blood. I don't think any intelligence agencies of the world maintain such a costly and useless facility -- except for rendition.

Definitely some WTF issues but a fun movie, none the less.
