Helen Hunt scarier than the shark

What a shallow terrible thing to post.

First of all, Helen Hunt was only pushing 50 when she made this film, and Dennis Quaid was pushing 60! Yet Quaid (wrinkly, weathered face and all) still had a great bod and big arms and shoulders, where Ms. Hunt's face looked a good deal like Michael Jackson's after his billionth "plastic" surgery, especially her pointy nose and sunken cheeks. Sure, everyone ages differently, as well as their DNA having a lot to do with how they look as they get older, but as someone else posted, I'm pretty sure Hunt has had some really bad work done on her face as it looked totally unnatural, not just aged. And you can't blame it on her weight, either. I'm pushing 60 myself (10 years older than Hunt in this film), and weigh only 110 @ 5'5", but my face doesn't look like I just escaped from a concentration camp.

As a comparison, Julianne Moore was the same age in "A Single Man" as Hunt was in this film, and even did a couple of scenes totally without makeup, and she STILL looked better than skeleton-faced Helen Hunt. Every time she was on screen I got the heebie-jeebies. It was more distracting and unsettling than seeing AnnaSophia Robb with a stump for an arm. Superficial or not, just saying.

This is ridiculous. After reading this whole thread, and seeing the unflattering frowny photo, I went to Google Images and looked at images of Hunt in the movie. Then I went to YouTube and watched several clips. She looks fine. I had read in the thread that she was 48 when she made the movie ... do people commenting not know what it looks like to be near 50 years old? Hunt is thin and her angular features may be a little more pronounced because of her thinness. It's the only thing I can think of that would make people have weird ageist reactions to her appearance.
