Hey women, just letting you know that men will never do this ****... lol

The lead men in this new comedy are portrayed as stupid, slow and very whipped. They are walking around with the babies all the time, doing anything and everything for the women at their beckon. It's just not realistic at all, most men will help out every now and then but not to the extent previewed in this movie. It will be a very rude awakening to women that watch this movie and actually think this happens when a baby is born.

The reality is the fact that the women will be taking care of the baby while the bread-winners go out and make the money to sustain their house, cars, food, etc. Sure, some couples are double income and hire nannies and such. That doesn't mean that the dad is a full stay at home dad, those guys are just losers that have no point to life. Real men will stand their ground and bring home the money in order to live a decent life, while the women work at home and take care of the kids.

Just saying.

"Men will never do this"

Well, they damn well should.

Men like that will be saving their kids from an adulthood full of daddy issues.

It's just very unlikely, highly unlikely, that you will find a guy that is so interested in doing *beep* like this with babies. It just doesn't happen.

One of the most ridiculous statements I've ever read. YOU may not be interested in spending time with your kid (what a shame) but that doesn't mean all other guys are the same as you.

What a stupid thing to say. Obviously (hopefully) you don't have kids. I am the major bread winner for my family, but my wife does work a few hours at night teaching dance lessons. Once she was ready to start back my son was 3-4 months old and I didn't mind keeping him at all. I still do to this day. I either pick him up from her work or I pick him up from my MIL right after I get off, sometimes he's asleep, but other times we play and have a good time together. Every now and then she will want to go out to go shopping with her grandma, mom, or friends and I don't have a problem "giving her a break", I sometimes wish she would do it more often so she would relax a little bit. When a couple has a child they should share equal responsibility. Sure the moms usually wind up caring more for him, but it's a natural thing and that doesn't mean the father shares no responsibility. It's his child too.

America's not a country. It's just a business. Now *beep* pay me.

Yo, no REAL man would ever touch a f'n baby. We got guns to clean and weights to lift. Yo, we got "funny guys" to beat up on Saturday night when we out wit da REAL guys drinkin' ourselves blind. We got cars drive around in and wreck when we get really drunk, and when and IF we come home, we got women to beat-up.

Yo, we don't do no baby stuff except MAKE 'EM, if youse get my meanin'.

Yo, crack me another beer and get outta my chair, woman, before I knock you inta next week.

Yo.

Does that do it for ya', OP?

Your reply comes in second place. I like the over the top faux camaraderie and the 'yo' is tasty icing.

Oh at last, the Victorian Male Perspective! I was afraid this self-absorbed, misogynistic perspective of the male mind was extinct. I suppose you also believe that women should be good little wives at home and not think twice about you stepping out to indulge in mistresses and prostitutes as well. After all, men have base urges and "family" women are asexual saints.

I do miss the glory days when a man's contribution to the family was a little money, some corporal punishment and a bad case of syphilis brought home to his dutiful wife.

Your response wins.

I don't know where to begin explaining how stupid you sound... Are you seriously saying that men should be sole breadwinners in this day and age and demeaning men that actually take interest in the lives of their children?
Don't get me wrong, I think the lead male characters in this movie were incorrectly portrayed since I know for a fact men are just as capable and in some cases more capable then women when it comes to taking care of children. But that does not mean that you have a license to rip on men who want to take time of work to get to know their children and even those who are stay at home dad's.
People choose weather or not they stay at home and now-a-days it's much more common for parents to both work and take time off when their baby is born.
I'm not a mother myself but I cannot even consider throwing my education away when we have children just to become a stay at home mother. Especially because my income would be considerably higher than his seeing that I'm educated and he's not so if either of us should become the sole-breadwinner so the other can take care of the child it should be me.
And btw the male characters weren't taking care of their children all the time, they met on Saturdays with their children, they just didn't show the everyday lives, you should really try being a parent in a real household before you start hating on things you clearly don't have a clue about.
Father's have just as much responsibility over their children as the mother's do, they have the same amount of DNA from each of them!!
People like you are the reason something as stupid and old-fashioned as gender inequality still exists!

Those men didn't look after their offspring on a daily basis. They took the kids to the park on Saturdays to give their wives a break. The rest of the week they went to work like real men

Me thinks you weren't paying attention when watching the film. Just saying.

I thought it was clear the daddy get togethers were on weekends, by the amount of activity going on in the background, especially when they met up with their friend Davis. Never did it cross my mind they were stay at home dads.
