Rare sequel being better than the first....
The first film, The Outlaws, was a pretty cool, gritty flick, and Ma-Dong-Seok put in his usual charismatic, no-nonsense tough guy performance. However, I have to say that The Roundup was a thoroughly more in-depth and somehow even grittier film than the first. I also enjoyed how it took some twists and turns I didn't see coming and kind of left me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out how things would turn out.
This was a great film, though, and this has one of the most satisfying bad guy comeuppances in film history. Never will you have wanted to see a villain get his a$$ beat as much as you will in this film.
