I Like Both Mona Personalities But I Really Miss The Old Mona. After She Was Revealed As -A The Show Got Boring And When She Went To Radley It Even Got More Boring And When She Went Out Of Radley Her Character Was Likeable But Not Entertaining.

She was A she was bad she was a bitch .i like her in radley crazy Mona was fun .but I like Mona either way .she always has some secret agenda and she is two faces .i mean she is still a bitch good or bad .comparing to Alison Mona kept her personality .Alison after prison was so boring and she was my favorite

shareI think Mona is still great but I feel that she is underrepresented. She has such spunk and richness of character, yet she is downgraded to a minor character. And her chemistry with the other characters is nothing short of wonderful: Hanna still cares about her but doesn't really know how proceed with their friendship, Spencer sees her as both an enemy and an ally because of her intelligence, the fact that she doesn't let Caleb push her around like he does with everyone else and the list just goes on. Just compare this to, for example, Alison after she turned out to be alive. She doesn't have complex relationships with anyone. She has become bland like untoasted bread.

Mona is the best part of the show. Janel steals every scene she's in.. I like every Mona!! But my fav is probably manipulative Mona and sarcastic Mona.. she makes me laugh.
shareShe's still great every once in a while, but the writers missed a lot of opportunities with her character and unfortunately she became a bit of a train wreck when it comes to continuity/purpose. Like many other aspects of the show, the writers waited too long to ever come to a definitive conclusion on what Mona really does or why she does it, so now it's just all muddled and worthless.
It's a shame, because I think Janel is talented and could have brought a lot more to the role if they had done a better job with the character.
I feel like there are more than 2 Monas. The geeky, pre Alison's departure Mona, the A Mona, the Radley Mona, etc. I like all of the ones prior to her coming out of Radley. Then, not so much.
