I'm desperate for movies similar to this, revolving around two characters locked in an epic struggle against one another, both refusing to back down, and preferably culminating in a lose-lose scenario. Some more examples could be:
I Saw the Devil
The Prestige
Bitter Feast

"This isn't TV, it's real life. Can't you tell the difference?"
"Sure - I just like TV better."

House of Sand and Fog, maybe. Although it's a lot less over the top.

Ooh! Great movie, and I'm proud to own the definitive editions of all three movies in the trilogy.
