How would Lisbeth keep the money she stole and what would she do with it?

In the books she found a shady broker to manage it for her. Towards the end he was pushing her to "do something" with money, because you couldn't just have money like that, without using it for some "purpose".

The protagonist did not response. Which I was happy with. It sounded like a...bit much.
