Quite possibly the worst ending in movie history.

Seriously, it's like the writers just gave up or something. I've never seen such an abrupt and poorly conceived ending in my entire life. What an amateurish pile of sh!t this film is. Avoid it at all costs. * out of *****

Personally, I thought the movie was sadly mediocre (and that was plot/character problems, not effects/budget problems). There were two excellent scenes... The little Drone that could, and the last five minutes. I thought the ending was great fun. It was right out of good old-fashioned 50s scifi. Hero gets brain transplanted into powerful alien body and can now save the woman he loves!! That's the movie I wanted to see. If they'd got to that point in the first half hour/45 minutes, it could've been awesome.

To me the best part was the drone fight and getting the missle off at the last second. I think if there was more of that, the. The movie would have been better. If they had explained why he was able to keep his brain and consciousness the ending would have made more sense. My take was that it was his love that allowed him to do this. But they didn't make it seem like the love was enough to me if that was the reason. The ending just came out of nowhere to me, and took forever to get there. I've said it somewhere else, but I want to see the aliens here versus the aliens from Battle: LA or Battleship aliens.
