OUTSTANDING

I don't know. I enjoyed a lot of it, but almost all of the characters were unlikeable and even when you take into account how awful a father Roderick was, they weren't even that sympathetic. Except for Lenore and Juno and somewhat for Morella. And I was confused by Verna, was she evil or good? Why did she make the pact with the twins in the first place? Because she is evil and wants as much death and torture and bad stuff like that or she is a force of nature that is too far above humanity for us to possibly understand her motives? Just seemed like a cop out. They just didn't want to explain it. So far my least favorite Mike Flanagan production because of the overall story. The acting and dialog for the most part was excellent though.
