One of many great British series that suddenly end

It took me a while to get into this one and for the first half hour I thought about turning it off, but once I got hooked I loved this series. The Magdalen Martyrs is my favorite but really liked all of them. What a shame then when the last episode stopped on a cliffhanger and we have no idea whether Cody lives or dies. I know it is the British system to have short series of a number of episodes fixed in advance, but if it's this good why not try another season?

Thanks very much! I hadn't noticed - I don't check Netflix that often for updates anymore.

You need to be vigilant on Jack Taylor updates. Netflix seems to ignore some titles and doesn't worry about announcing them as much as some.

It's an Irish series not English.

Don't you remember the episode where Cody is seen briefly? It was a short scene, but he was recovering and doing well.
