this movie was too confusing for us

Verena died and Malvina's spirit took over her body (At the end we see Verena beautifully playing the Piano but at the start she told Klaus she didn't know how to play while Malvina was a professional pianist)

she got sick (she said she had the same kind of fever Malvina had) I assume the house made her sick.

well im glad i asked because i certainly couldn't figure all that out by myself. i wish they would've made certain things a bit more clear. oh well. it still piqued my interest and such beautiful cinematography. thx.

I think they poisoned her knowing that Malvina would come back in her body. She had no ties and would not be missed.

It reminded me of the Skeleton Key and you could see it coming a mile off. Really poor film. Emilia Clarke needs to step away from some of the crap she's been in outside of GOT... the best thing I've seen her in was Dom Hemingway.
