Feed the alligator (spoiler)

I see this in movies today, scenes that have nothing to do with the plot or at least unnecessary, who gets filmed, in my opinion, only to appease the woke commissars and get them off their backs. I called it Feed The Alligator - give food to the "Alligator" to avoid the sharp teeth of the woke mob.

The biggest example is Cassidy parents, it turns out that they are homophobic and unhappy that their daughter is dating women. But this's not all, we find out that her parents are interracial couple, and surprise surprise, the only one who is homophobic is the white male father, he is also shown as one who imposes his views on his wife.
And when he look at Sean he said to him "so you a man, it's step to right direction" WTF is that supposed to mean?!? Are they trying to imply that the person who married a black woman is also a racist? I t's so obvious that they tried to insert something related to identity politics just to stay part of the industry. It's really sad.

Opposite example are the nudist and natural parts in the movie that are definitely feel authentic and more like Dave Franco and Alison Brie style.
