The two dudes who saw them


This is the sore point of the movie for me. Why throw in "man's inhumanity to man" when you already have a thrilling survival pic? It just led the viewer in a different direction, needlessly.

As it is a modern movie, they had to work in a "men are evil bastards" angle in a manner more immediate than flashbacks.

I don't think that's the point of the scene. They could have had two chicks driving away for the same effect. I just don't think it was realistic, for either gender. People are more humane than the movie wants us to think.

Some people are "humane," some aren't. Not sure why this is puzzling to people. Shrug. THIS particular story has people in it who are scummy. That is all.
