Heroes? Really?

Is it just a coincidence that the first song in this movie is the one featured in The Perks of Being a Wallflower with Emma Watson?

It's a great song though so I don't mind.

Agree ~

"There's a band playing on the radio ~ With a rhythm of rhyming guitars"

It's a popular son for David Bowie fans. What purpose could the filmmakers have to use the song just because it was in a movie with Emma Watsons? So internet goofs who see random numbers will get freaked up?

reply

Yes really

Two of the movies that star Steve Coogan but are otherwise unrelated feature "Heroes" over the end credits. I don't think there's any conspiracy at work.

This song must cost a lot of money to use in a film or series. It’s a great song but it’s use in anything else is a cliche now.
