Incredible

This is an incredible movie, intelligent and beautifully filmed. Highly original too. I do not understand how so few people 'got' this. I know it's weird, and different, but come on; can the masses only appreciate trash like "Captain America" these days? "Horns" is quite possibly the best film of 2013.

Wholeheartedly agreed! I literally just verified my account just to reply to this. Instantly became my new favorite movie.

It's no surprise that "Horns" was not a commercial success, but I was shocked that critics didn't recognize this movie as something really special. I've never seen any mainstream film attempt something like this. it's one of my favorites too.

Completely agree. The film was so original and the performances were great. Daniel Radcliffe really shocked me.

I love this film, it has become my new favourite. It's awesome but I can understand why it's not a film for everyone. It has mix of genres I love: Fantasy, Horror, Mystery, Romance, Comedy, also has a little but of Superhero in it. Daniel Radcliffe was fantastic not once did I think of Harry Potter when watching this. The acting all round is great, the concept is original and creative.

I watched this movie last night for the second time and came here to let everyone know what a beautiful film it really is. Words can't describe how enthralled I was whilst watching this gem of a movie. I like Daniel Radcliffe anyway but he is brilliant in this and Juno Temple is a stunning beautiful girl and a great actress. A special mention for Joe Anderson who is also a brilliant under rated actor. Brilliant movie.

It's because most people now-a-days seem to need everything to be black and white. I like black and white humor, but if a movie is good and makes me think, then I'll love it, too. I loved this movie a lot.

I've noticed many of my favorites are hybrids like this - movies not necessarily set out to do one simple thing but takes inspiration from every genre imaginable. It's true these tend to alienate people who want movies of higher "purity" - I know from experience several viewers who can't handle horror comedy because they feel the genres crash. Personally I think some of the best movies are mashups of lots of things, and when filmmakers manage to mix this into consistent stories they make truly reamrkable films. Like Horns.

I agree. It’s one of the few films designated ‘horror comedy’ that made me laugh out loud. The cast was uniformly excellent telling an original story. Some really cool kills and effects, and the horns themselves were incredible. I’m sure there was a lot of religious stuff that went right over my head but i really liked it. I don’t think I’ve yet seen a bad Alexandre Aja movie.
