Holy 5#1t, Theodore has it against good ol' Hef!

Last episode, "The Circus", really push the pedal to the medal in allegations of weird, bizarre behavior. And the more they push it, the more I believe Hef was a good man. Miki Garcia also shows so much hatred it becomes suspicious. She even claims that she helped the religious right "destroy" pornography sales in America thanks to her testimonies.

The problem is, is that now that he is dead the allegations have come out. I would have more of an inclination to believe them if he were still alive. No one can make money off of a dead person by saying how wonderful that they were. They make money by slander, and by making themselves into victims. Now, I'm not saying Hef was a saint- far from, but what I am saying is that it isn't out of the realm of possibility that these people have made sh*t up just to get attention, and to make money. Also, take into account that I find pornography to be vile, and evil. However, if someone wants to participate in that world, or purchase items from that world then they have the right to do so.

When Hefner was alive he had his share of scandals and controversy, of course. Even the Hef-sanctioned show on Amazon, American Playboy, proved it so. But in this show Garcia and Theodore just attack Hef so mercilessly that I only had to ask... Hold on, this guy had a business made out of women's beauty. He didn't have any reason to behave like that and people not complain about it. He lost millions with his casinos and made bad investments, but Playboy stayed as a good brand way into the 2000's. I don't think what Playboy did was pornography, on the contrary, I like it a lot, but I respect your opinion.

To be honest with you I never really viewed Playboy as pornography either. Their pictures (from the little that I have seen) presented women as artwork more than pornography. Hustler on the other hand- pretty gross. When I was a kid my next door neighbor's father had a huge stack of Hustler magazines. When he was at work my friend and I would look at them sometimes. I have to be honest I was only about ten, and had no idea what I was looking at, but I knew it wasn't pretty. He had Playboys too-those were much better. As I said in Playboy women were presented as artwork- not wild moralless whores.

Also, I'm not saying that some of the allegations against Hef aren't true. It's just that once a person is dead, and then people start bashing the hell out of them after the fact my B.S. detector goes off.

I recommend the new Jimmy Savile doc on Netflix: A British Horror Story. Like Hef, he's dead, but this guy definitely was a monster who was protected by the establishment.
