Charles M. Schulz, at least he got to the bloody point!

Shakespeare was probably the most uninteresting thing I ever had the displeasure of studying. It's such a load of utterly unreadable crap. The truth of this comes out when you translate it into modern English. It makes for a pretty boring long winded read. Having people ponce about in tights and makeup gives it style over very little substance.

Shakespeare's no Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus, that's for sure:

Only at the beginning. Like playing a musical instrument, which is hard bloody work when you begin, but wonderful when you've got the hang of it.

When I was in high school I honestly believed that nobody really liked Shakespeare -- they only pretended to in order to seem cleverer than everybody else. Then I grew up. Now Shakespeare is my darling and if they dug up his bones tomorrow I would find a way to have my way with them within the week.

Shakespeare rocks.

When I was young I believed Shakespeare was the greatest writer in all of history. Then I grew up, and realized that everybody says that because they're afraid of not looking sophisticated.
