When some of the characters are being chased/hunted by the Whisperers, why can't they just out run them? Like the time Daryl rescued Henry and decided to make stand in the building because they were tired of running. I mean Whisperers can only move as fast the zombies. Plus they'll have to hunt and track at the same time. More than enough time to get away. Even at normal walking speed they can out pace the Whisperers.

The whisperers used the walkers to swarm the crew in the last episode and while they were busy with the walkers they surrounded them with weapons that included guns.
