Donner Party Manquee

This is "it" for me and Reichardt films. In her two most recent (her first blows beets--and how she resurfaced after nearly a generation in exile...and after such a debut...is the real mystery), she offers resolution. In this there is none, with the inescapable inference that the resolution is horrific, as in Donner Party horrific.
