This is one of my favorite sci fi movies. Granted I'm not very old and I only really got into sci fi fantasies maybe a few years ago but I think I rated this a 9 out of 10 great movie!!

I liked it too. I don't think it should have announced it was by the same creator by twilight, as A lot of non fans of the twilight universe such as myself would not have gone to see it. It would also deter those who were fans of twilight but are not fans of sci-fi, so she had 2 things working against her.
I wish they would have finished the series. I hate when a good movie (such as this one or The Golden Compass) doesn't get its franchise fully made, but terrible movies keep getting sequels.
