Tragically bad

I have been aware of the director Shawn C. Phillips for about 15 years, when he started appearing on YouTube in his back bedroom reviewing DVDs.

Since then he has gone on to become a 'director'. Shawn comes across as a guy who knows what a good movie is from a bad one. So why is it as a director he makes the worst movies ever??

It doesn't make sense how he can allow his movies to be badly acted, badly written and badly directed. I don't mean just bad I mean really bad. Worse than really bad.

The acting and camera angles are just so awful, it's embarrassing. The scripts could have been written by a monkey.

Also, he appears to make about 20 new movies a month. Or it seems like that. He's always promoting a new title.

If I could give Amityville Karen (2022) -100/10 I would. But more worse is why he keeps being hired to make these movies that aren't really movies. They're like something filmed on a smart phone for a laugh. Except there's nothing to laugh about.
