I am a huge fan of the Halloween movies and only though this was okay. Personally I thought it would have taken some serious risks, but it played it kind of safe. Also the plot with the doctor was kind of pointless, I wished they would have spent more time on it.
shareI'd say the twist involving the doctor could have been a pretty serious risk but, as you said, they didn't spend much time on it. It was an interesting idea that could have been executed a little better. They didn't go about it the best way. I still really enjoyed this movie though, despite a few minor complaints.
shareYeah, the doctor was pointless. I'd say killing a kid on film is a risk. Usually taboo in movies but I'm glad they had the balls to do it.
