‘ARGYLLE’ will end its theatrical run without breaking $100M at the global box office..

The movie had a $200M budget.

They marketed this movie pretty hard too. A trailer was attached to every single I movie I saw in theaters from December til now, and I saw plenty of TV spots for it. This is going to be a loss of epic preportions, on a historical level I mean.

some comments from that X link

It was atrocious

That's a mega flop. Poor Henry first Superman now this.

He's barely in this movie, they used him as eye candy to attract viewers.

From the trailers I saw it looked really bad.

Awful film . They put cavil in it for 5mins but it’s a bait and switch

“Never go full frumpy cat lady”

Big flop but I still want to see it.

When a movie earns less than half of its total budget, you know you've done something wrong.

I mean, that is what you get for fault advertising

I was extremely disappointed in this film. Went in thinking kingsman or X-men first class since it's Matthew Vaughn but I was left disappointed. Just too many twists. Sam Rockwell was great but that's pretty much it. Also I have my theory it was written by Ai for the script

I only watched a few minutes before stopping and I was wondering why dua lipa was pushed so hard on the posters when she's only in a couple of minute

I’m assuming they spent most of the money on acquiring the rights to use Suspicious Minds in the movie

Why it costed $200M?! Kingsman only costed $90M!!
