Harken. All of Jason Bateman's problems came from Harken. Charlie Day couldn't get another job because of his sexual predator status, which wasn't his fault, but it also wasn't Jennifer Aniston's fault. Jason Sudekus didn't want to quit because the job market was awful, which wasn't Bobby's fault. I had the same question for myself and decided he was the worst of the three before he murdered Bobby. Harken was the beginning and the end of Bateman's problems.
I wouldn't write Julia off as the lesser of 3 evils though. Originally, when she was only harassing and molesting Charlie, it didn't seem quite as bad (especially considering how attractive Jennifer is) But, the way she framed him and took advantage of his already unfortunate sexual predator situation was a little unforgivable. Especially when she was messing with his relationship with his wife he valued so dearly.
I actually hated Bobby the least. It's hard to hate some coked out dumb ass. He just seemed the least threatening. Like he could be taken out easily and in a legal manner. If Sudekus caught him doing coke three times, it shouldn't have been that hard to turn him in to the police for it. Also, Sudekus's character was the least pitiful of the three of them.
But yes, Bobby is the one who was the most dangerous to the general public.
