Why is it made into a show??? The story is quite closed and there is no need to go forward ...
"What we do in the shadows" kinda made sense to be turned into a show, being a comedy and all. And still turned out to be at least a lot weaker than the movie if not utterly shit - couldn't get past few episodes while the movie is one of my favorites.
Lestat's story continues for quite a while, in the books.
I haven't seen this so I have no idea how closely it follows the books, though, so don't know if it matters much what happens in them, I admit. But if the books are an issue, yeah, they go on for a while.
The story is quite closed? Not if you see all of the novels that came after “Interview”. They never made “Tale of the Body Thief” which I thought was shocking. I’d like for someone to give “Queen of the Damned” another go. It was a huge story that encompassed a lot, not like the movie that didn’t deal with 1/8 of what was in the novel. it would have to be a mini series if it was redone. HBO/HBO MAX?
I’m actually glad someone redid this as I don’t consider the movie canon by any means & its good to see another version of the story.

Yes I know I’ve read that & so I’m preparing for it, the 2nd episode dragging I mean. I’m not going to be there every Sunday religiously for every episode but I’ll catch them when I can.
