If not for DVR, know we could not sit through this. Rick/Old Man/Cory......great characters...........as well as all of their other employees we see.
If they continue to show more him/less old man, stick a fork in this show (thought may too late for that).
The SINGLE BEST THING THIS SHOW COULD DO IS DUMP HIM.

Well said. But unfortunately Chum is the hightest paid actor on Pawn Stars, which I'm sure annoys Rick and Cory to no end. So as long as the series has viewers, Chum isn't going anywhere.

How does Chumlee keep his job? He is lazy, looks unkept, sasses his boss(Rick) and ignores orders. He acts like he owns part of the shop. He is the reason I have quit watching as I cannot stand his arrogant stupidity.
shareUmm, you do realize that all that behavior is scripted as are all the "buys". People are not just randomly showing up with rare or unique things and there happens to be a film crew there that day.
Of course that fat idiot would be fired if he acted like that if this terrible show wasn't just a poorly written sitcom.

I stopped watching the show for a while because of Chump Lee.He got so annoying that at first I would just fast forward through his bits then I just gave up.
I come to check it out on IMDB thinking I may start watching again and I found out Chump Lee got arrested.
I wonder if they are going to hold Chump Lee to the same high moral standard they held the young tattooed girl on the night shift? They fired her because she was in the "Suicide Girls" videos and was naked... big deal! She was actually an interesting character unlike Chump Le
So are they going to fire Chump on the same moral conduct code they fired the tattooed hottie or does the Chump get a hall pass?
