Seems like any Hollywood effort to bring in AI usually ends in stupidity

I guess there have been a few robot/AI movies that have been watchable, but really none of them have been about real AI paradoxes, they are mostly horror movies where the AI entity is the monster.

When they bring Jennifer Loqez in the IQ of the plot usually declines precipitously ... but, I'd be happy to be wrong.

The trailer shows Latina Western world fighting with Asian AI soldier. Sound stupid to you? Well, it does to me. Yet another second grader intellectual level action movie.

Jennifer Loqez was eying a trilogy here and hoped to compete with Star Wars. She felt the material was fresh and avantgarde. "It hasn’t been done before. Its new. As a producer she worked closely with writer Aron Eli Coleite and director Brad Peyton
for a visionary take on this much anticipated futuristic thriller" The singer proclaimed.

Techno slapstick has been done before. And Lopez is 54 now, a bit long in the tooth to be believable for this. Also, another movie that treats the AI as human, as they joke back and forth between each other in the middle of fighting. Bleh.

I love seeing JL sitting in a pod doing dialog to nobody. If this was release wide, it would be the biggest flop since Cutthroat Island.
…and yes, she is very long in the tooth.

I like her as an actress, but she needs something with a real story.

Yes , like Out of Sight or Parker.
