how did this movie get such a high rating?

The whole thing is so trite and predictable, so unfunny, so unnecessary!

I really wasn't expecting the film to be good when I initially saw the previews, but when I saw the ratings, both on Rotten Tomatoes and here on IMDB, I thought maybe it would surprise me and decided to give it a chance.

What a joyless waste of time that turned out to be... 

Exactly. My wife and I read a positive review somewhere and decided to give it a go. But it was so bad we stopped after twenty minutes. Terrible.

I wish I also stopped after 20 minutes, instead I wasted 2 hours on that crap. 

I really enjoyed it, found it a bit of a fun, easy viewing film although I did struggle with her letting both men believe they were the father! That was a bit cruel.
