Is this a real Pashto phrase or is it made up for the movie?

First of all i am “Pathan” and i speak “Pashto”
Second of all just for the sake of reply to your question / post i ended up making a profile on this site !
The answer is YES !
This is something we say to someone close to our hearts. Who means everything to us. Like using the word “love” isnt enough to describe our feelings for them so we say “ Da Stargo Tora - The Black of my eye” which means the Light of my eyes. My eyesight. Imagine yourself without your eyesight..... you’d feel empty and lost in abyss !! I am sure you get what i am trying to say right :) !!
