Do people still believe in that stuff?

I mean besides some religious nuts are there any sane people that believe in that stuff in this day and age?Makes you wonder what really happened in that house if anything.And the actors who play in these kind of movies do they do it because it's fun and they get a lot of money or maybe the believe there is some truth to the story?
When i watch these kinds of movies i pretend they are just entertaining stories but when i see quotes like "God is real,devil is real and we have to choose sides" followed by old family photos of the real people i feel like back when i was a kid and other kids trying to convince me of their horror stories.

Isn't the way the horror genre is being treated in Holywood a little outdated?I am sure there are better stories and books out there than a Ghost with a cruel past and dolls.Although being one of the best of its kind there are probably a million other movies like this.Writers in Hollywood you have to do better...

I actually have written some horror stories myself but i am not a writer.I am sure there are many horror books writers like Stephen King with interesting material.

I realise now that answering to someone who uses the argument "you do it" was a waste of my time.No i don't have to be able to do something well to judge it,like football,like directing like writing but i guess you can't undestand that.
A word of advice if you try to make a worthy conversation don't act like a condescending idiot and try to offer something to the converasation.This will save people's time including your own.If you want to feel good about yourself do it elsewhere.I am ignoring you from now on of course.

I'm sure that many or most 'ghost stories' and 'hauntings' are real. Doesn't it seem illogical that most or all of the sheer amount of alleged hauntings are simply 'hallucinations' are 'lies' -given there are millions throughout the history of mankind?

I believe and am convinced that nearly all 'ghost sitings' and 'hauntings' are demons 'masquerading' as deceased spirits. If demons (Satan's followers -the third that were cast out of heaven and were denied the chance to be born on this earth) can convince people that the ghosts they see are NOT demons or malignant...but simply deceased persons who actually lived...this is a way of getting people into the 'occult' and 'darker things.' The trouble is that about all 'ghost sitings' are not the spirits of the deceased but simply demons masquerading as such. Sooner or later people realize that the 'benign' ghosts they are seeing are not 'benign'; since demons are not benign but 'vessels of wrath and hate.'

Spiritual forces -both good and evil- permeate this existence. Demons are allowed to 'make contact' with us but as an OVERWHELMING general rule ACTUAL spirits of the deceased WHO ONCE LIVED...ARE NOT allowed to make contact with us. The only way, in general, to rid someone or something (like a house) of demonic forces is by 'spirituality' -that is Christian influences...

The movie -being a 'modern' horror movie was better than I thought it would be -albeit somewhat formulaic and derivative and certainly 'unoriginal': It seems that nearly all 'modern' horror movies demonstrate the 'desensitization' of modern society and resort to more graphic and gruesome garbage to create a false 'sense of horror' and 'atmosphere' that exists less and less every year due to the degradation of society. This movie actually (which is a rarity these days) had a legitimate sense of atmosphere and creepiness that wasn't forced and that didn't need to use profanity or excessive gore, etc. like most movies these days do...

I see you enjoy it! Cause everyone in the world knows that picking on people's religious beliefs through the internet is Troll fantasy #1! Funny stuff Mr. Blacklabel! Fun-ny stuff. Also, I agree with you about horror writers needing to do better! THE CONJURING only made a little over three hundred million dollars worldwide! Shame, shame, shame on you horror writers! You see whenever someone uses the word trolling in a conversation without reason,most likely they are the ones that trolling.But i am bored so let me feed you.
So, even religious people nowdays (the educated ones) don't believe there is a devil and a god and we have to choose sides,so you might understand how ridiculous it sounds to me when it sounds rediculous to religious people.

The conjuring made over three hundred million dollars ergo it's good.Here we have a classic example of a brainwashed invividual with a herd mentality.Let me tell you something you didn't know.Box office earnings of a movie is not actually a indicator of the quality of this movie.Crazy right? If we put aside the fact that most people are animals concerned about their small little lives,watching movies just to look at a screen for 2 hours and forget about everything,they don't want to learn,or be challenged,they just want action movies,cheap scares and soap opera romance.If you put aside all that,still, movies like Shawsank Redemption ,which is number 1 on imdb list,therefore the favourite movie of most people voting,failed at the box office.You see a movie is a product and advertisement of a product sometimes plays a much bigger role than the product's quality.

Last but not least,"you should insult people based on their race next time".I used to compare these two too so i can't blame you.On the other hand,i was 12 back then.
Religion is a belief,a sum of ideas about ethics and all mighty men living in the clouds.Whereas race is something you are born with.The colour of your skin,your bone structure etc.It has nothing to do with beliefs or ideas.So, you can judge a *beep* belief and a *beep* sum of ideas.That is called democracy.Whereas you can't judge a person for his race.That is called racism.See the difference?
