This is the 4th Scream-type movie to come out this year.

Totally Killer (2023), Killer Book Club (2023), and Scream 6 (2023) all came out this year, and I liked those movies slightly more than this one.

In this film, I actually found myself rooting for the killer because I disliked most of the annoying ass characters.

Much gorier than any Scream movie. That's a big plus in this movies favor. Though yes it does have that fun teen vibe, scooby-doo mystery thing going on.

I really enjoyed it but I think I would have preferred it to be a bit darker and edgier. Less humor, more nudity. In saying that this is probably still my favorite 'modern slasher', post-2010, either this or X (2022).
