Oh come on!

It's too bad that:

A) There's no discussion about this movie and
B) The rating is low (mostly due to dudes it seems)

Although not gay myself, I do watch gay and lesbian films because they tend to have an inherent element of suspense (usually the character will get into some kind of trouble if their sexuality is discovered).

I've certainly seen some bad ones but here was a really good one with the same director and lead actress of The Gymnast and it really sucks no one seems to have seen it and that the rating is so low. It's a solid 6.5 or higher.

Granted there are a few murky plot points but it was a good movie.

Don't try to cash in love, that check will always bounce.

Better than average, I have to say. Pretty entertaining and controversial. I like it when small budget films reveal big truths that major studios are afraid to touch, like rape and homosexuality in the armed forces. Weber's a hottie and I chose to watch this one because "The Gymnast" was good, in my opinion, and I found it extremely erotic. This "Marine Story" won't have T&A nor lesbian scenes (you have the internet for that), but the tension built around the small town, the homophobia, the drug addiction and the way they treat women and gays in the military were powerful drive factors in this film. Kudos to Weber and her husband for this great film. Weber is a hottie and her body is outstanding, by the way.
